On November 6, 2017, John V. Tucker was sworn in as a member of the Bar of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. This latest admission adds to the list of many federal courts in which Mr. Tucker is admitted to practice. This admission will allow Mr. Tucker to litigate ERISA cases involving Disability Insurance and Life Insurance benefits against business with offices in our nations capitol.
John Tucker is a founding shareholder of Tucker Disability Law. Although Tucker Disability Law is based in St. Petersburg, Florida, Tucker has a national practice representing individuals in employee benefit plan claims, appeals, and lawsuits. Mr. Tucker focuses his representation on Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability benefits, as well as Accidental Death, Dismemberment, and Life Insurance. John Tucker has represented individuals as a plaintiff’s ERISA attorneys for over 25 years, and he currently serves as the Chair of the American Association for Justice ERISA Benefits Litigation Group.
