When I started I used a national law firm and it was a horrible experience. Fired them and then got Tucker Law Firm. I can’t even begin to explain the difference. Should have left this review long ago but this VA process has been so long that it feels like yesterday that we started working together on my case. Daniel has been amazing from the get go. Though we hardly spoke over the phone, Dan and his staff ALWAYS kept up with my emails and answered my questions when needed. UPDATE: after the case was closed and the bill needed to be paid, Daniel began calling and asking for full payment. At this point I spoke to him over the phone over those 2 days than I ever did. Not only did he continue to question how I spent my money, he kept saying that I was taking money from another veterans pocket. Wholly unacceptable! He also threatened that the decision on my case may change if tbe bill isn't paid in full immediately. I set up a payment arrangement which he was not happy with and continued asking why he couldn't be paid. Understand, outside help on VA claims is 100 percent recommended. Just know its a business transaction. Never let anyone threaten you about payments. Know the laws in your state and country.
I no longer recommend this firm. Any other firm should do just fine. Just dont use the DAV

They asked for my documentation from the va. In less than about 10 min I got a responce saying it's more than they want to handle. I get the feeling as long as it's an easy case that each of us could probably do it ourselves, then that's the only way they will take it. They will take it if no real work is needed on their part, but they will definetly bill you like they did. Ive tried for years to get help with my military injuries. I finally get up the courage to contact a supposedly reputable lawyer and the farthest I get is a middle man receptionist. Find a different lawyer

I had prostate cancer and because of agent orange exposure was eligible for 100% disability. My prostate was removed as was the cancer and the VA left me with 20% residual disability verified by hospital and doctors that treated me.
Then I got a disability review by a nurse practioner and VA dropped me to zero. Tucker Law and Mr. Daniel Clarke took my case and they would not give up till I got my benefit back. I contacted Tucker Disability Law two years ago to request assistance in filing a disability claim with the VA — more than 20 years after my separation from the military. From the very beginning, the professionalism, compassion, and dedication of this firm were evident.

At first I was skeptical about utilizing an attorney to get a higher disability rating, which I believed I deserved. Not only was it discouraging that the VA had turned me down already, but this attorneys office was located in Florida and I live all the way in North Dakota, but for whatever reason, google matched my search with Tucker Disability and I’m extremely grateful. After a supplemental claim, a denied higher level review through the VA, and nearly losing hope, Dan and Sarah helped walk me through the process and noticed that the VA was completely ignoring my overseas and deployment service on my DD214 which was the basis of my claims. After filing an appeal and at the end of a full year process, I was finally awarded the bump from 90% to 100% permanent and total AND awarded retroactive pay from the initial date of my claim. This company is true to their word with Veterans. I paid very minimal attorney fees and they stuck to the exact amount owed for the retroactive payments.

If you want a super rude lawyer, who tells you they won’t call you cause they are too busy! This is that place. I have never been more disrespected, also the lawyer who was working on my cause Daniel, said that he won’t call and use just their portal. All they care about is taking your money obviously cause they charged me 12$ to stop services with them all for sending one document to the va. Didn’t send any new claims nothing. It’s a rip off completely. Also my husband started using them as well. Luckily he hasn’t signed any document with them. But they also told him that they don’t like to do ptsd claims.. if you’re a va disability specific law firm… how do you not want to do ptsd claims.. majority of us veterans have ptsd and that makes up almost majority of my claims.. also my husbands. As a good lawyer you should have form of communication not just staring at my files and assuming things. DONT USE THEM!

This was the worst experience I've had. Had to submit everything 4 or 5 times to 4 different people who all asked for things that was already submitted. Had to tell them several; times that I only wanted to claim certain things but my request was ignored many times. Finally one of the attorneys actually emailed me and asked for the exact same thing that was already submitted. I told him to read the file I submitted weeks ago. As I'm close to my deadline for submission, things got a bit heated noting my frustration and they closed my file and said good luck. Would Absolutely NEVER recommend these people.

I'm a 79 year old Vietnam veteran and I have had PTSD since I returned home in 1967. For many years the VA ignored me as they determined it was not service connected. I was always treated by the VA as if I was never in Vietnam. A brother veteran called me and gave me the phone number for Tucker Disability. I called them but thinking there was nothing anyone can do to change the reason I was not service connected. I spoke with Daniel Clarke who made me feel like he could cut through the VA red tape and get me a favorable decision. He had an account created for me at the Tucker Portal and I uploaded the few NAVY files I had. The VA first came back and said there was no records of my service from the 1960s. Daniel got back to them and my claim started to move forward. There was no more indication that they needed more proof of my service. The VA was denying me even though I had a DD-214 Honorable discharge with Vietnam Service Medal awarded. Daniel Got at them again and there was no more talk of my eligibility. The process ended with a decision from the VA for Service Connected PTSD, Migraine headaches, and Tinnitus. As I was living off a Social Security Retirement check I was barely meeting my bills. This decision is a lifesaver for me and my wife.

You need to watch out for this group. They told me that if you win then they take only a percentage from that. That is not true they will also send you a very large invoice for all there postage and whatever else they can think of for thousands of dollars on top of the money that VA pays them. I filed a claim with the VA for my migraine headaches. My claim has been approved at zero percent since 2008 and no matter what I do, I was unable to improve my rating with the VA.

John Tucker's office filed an appeal for me. I was first approved at 30%, then at 50% after his office requested a higher-level review. What was amazing is the HLR was approved within a week after their appeal. I reached out to Tucker Disability Law based solely on their Google Reviews.

#1 Their admission process allows only for one decision letter at a time to be submitted and they only want the decision letter. So their decision to represent is based solely on how well the VA decides to articulate their notoriously vague denial.
#2 In short order I was contacted via email and given two options:
a) They could begin the appeal process as is.
b) I could resubmit my claim and adjust the language.
*Then what to I need an attorney for?
#3 I took option #1 only to be contacted some time later and told that they had decided to decline to represent and suggested I resubmit for benefits.
#4 I am not a professional veteran. Meaning I do not rely solely on my benefits. I have a good job with the U.S. Department of State that requires me to deploy abroad for extended periods. So starting over after the VA has wasted years and these guys have wasted weeks is simply out of the question.

I urge those of you in Mississippi to consider Veterans Benefits Law Group out of Ridgeland, MS. I was able to submit multiple Decision Letters/ CT scans/ and supporting DD214s for a GWS claim. Within 10 days after filling out the appropriate VA POA I received notice that the appeals process is underway.

I cannot express to you how wonderful Tucker Disability Law is to have on your side. It's bad enough when you are suffering from disability to have to try to maneuver through all the processes and documents, but if your lawyer doesn't help you, or worse, you're trying to do it on your own-it's impossible! After working with my private disability policy on my own for several months, I still had no idea what the policy covered, what benefits I had, or how to get them. My HR representative kept telling me not to worry, once my short term was used up, the long-term took over. It did not. If I hadn't found Tucker Disability Law, I'd be homeless. That is no exaggeration. I had saved up my 3 months' finances, but those 3 months went by fast. I cannot begin to describe what John Tucker and his staff have meant to my family. After a horrific accident that ended my beloved nursing career, we were told to just call John and not to bother with any local attorney's. Seems in a small town, everybody knows everyone. If I could turn back the hands of time, I should have hired the Tucker Law Group from the get-go to act on my behalf versus the VA. But I didn’t and paid a price in time, effort and composure.

Now if you are a veteran like me with a can-do gung-ho attitude who’s smarter than the average bear, you may think you can file a VA claim/s for service-connected disabilities with an expectation of a fair and positive outcome. That’s the way it should be since the VA claim process was designed so veterans can file their own claims. But years later after filling and providing reams of paperwork and submitting to rigged C&P (Compensation and Pension) exams, you will discover the deck is stacked against veterans.

It’s designed to make you throw your hands up, give-up and walk away. Your claim denials will become an insult to your integrity, honor and service. The more information you provide the VA, the more the VA will ask for. It will wear you down and if you are lucky, the VA may throw you a bone along the way in hopes you will go away.

You can go as far as requesting help from your Congressman and Senator only to find that they really don’t care or the VA is too powerful. But there is hope.

I am completely impressed with the personal attention and the lengths that Rebecca Deming and her team went through to resolve my case. From when I first contacted them, they looked at my medical documentation and started giving me great advice and explained in detail what their approach would be to complete my claim. I have an unusual military-related medical condition and they were able to connect me with one of the best medical specialists in the country who was able to further diagnose my condition and provide documentation on why it was due to military service. Throughout the entire process they kept the lines of communication open and was very clear on what the next steps would be. When the Veterans Administration came back with a ruling I thought was unacceptable, Rebecca Deming was able to see where they made errors in their determination and brought it to the higher level reviewer’s attention. I contacted the Tucker Law Group a little over a year ago. They are the 3rd law firm I've used since my claim in 2013. Rebbecca Demming and her team have already gotten me a 70% rating on just one of my appeals.They are still working very hard on my other appeals.

Mr. Tucker, John and his team were fantastic over the last couple of years. They took my case where most other Law firms wanted nothing to do with it. There are only a few law firms nationwide that deal with cases like mine (ERISA). The Tucker firm was great at keeping me in the loop as things were happening and sent me notices anytime there was any action in my case. All documents were easily accessed with a portal that they use as well as secure communication on the portal. Dana kept me well informed on all matters, was kind and very patient working with me on items I needed to deliver. The tucker firm worked hard on my case and helped me get a very reasonable settlement that I would have never gotten without them.
